Freezer-Bound

Just look at those colors, would you?

You know what's fun about freezing your own home-grown veggies? In a few months there will come a cold, dreary, possibly rainy, short day and on that day Mr. Big Food will pull from the freezer a bag of crooked and straight neck yellow squash from 8/3/13 and ask if I remember what were were up to at the beginning of August. And we will reminisce about what we were up to. Then, later that evening we'll have some squash casserole.

It must be boring to get all of your veggies from the grocery store. Without frozen home-grown veggies, what do you talk about on a cold, dreary, possibly rainy, short day?
