That's how many men flew helicopters in Vietnam. I've been told by a fellow I chatted with that there are about 1000 here at the reunion, not counting spouses. They are a friendly lot, but they don't seem to be venturing too far from the hotel or planned activities. It would appear they are enjoying eachother's company. 

The first thing the fellow said me after he'd told me the number of pilots was, "of course, a lot of them died, or have since died."
