Recipe: Baked Cheese Grits I

Served with homemade hunter sausage
BAKED CHEESE GRITS I

1 C uncooked grits
1/3 C butter, melted
3 eggs, beaten
¼ C milk
8 oz shredded cheese (any variety—cheddar is good in this)
1 tsp Tabasco
¼ tsp garlic powder

Preheat oven to 325o. Cook grits according to package directions. Combine remaining ingredients, whisking to blend thoroughly. Pour mixture into hot cooked grits. Stir to mix. Pour into a greased casserole dish. Bake 55 minutes or until completely set.
