Never a Dull Moment | UPDATE It's on the move

No.
We are not going to name it.

We are not going to call the vet.

We are not going to bottle feed it.

We are not going to keep it for a pet.

UPDATE

Taken through the bathroom window.

  1. I assume that's a current photo...

Isn't it a bit late for new babies? Does this baby stand a chance??

  2. Yes. This morning. The second was about an hour later.

It's not uncommon for fawns to be born in July and eve August here.

"Therefore, because seasonal climate changes are not as severe, fawns born in central Georgia in late May or early June tend to have about the same survival rates as fawns born in July in portions of Alabama, or even August in Mississippi."

As to whether this particular one stands a chance... ?? I should look into survival rates of deer someday.

  3. If they're hanging around that close to your house, you'll probably find out by next spring!
