Recipe: Hot Mexican Bean Dip (Veganizable)

Served with Freetos!
We had appetizers for Sunday supper. Try it sometime!
 
Cocktail Wieners and Variation
Shrimp Appetizer Supreme 
Hi Hat Mushrooms in Wine Sauce and Vegan Variation

To veganize, use vegetarian baked beans, omit cheese, bacon, and Worcestershire sauce.
HOT MEXICAN BEAN DIP
Makes 3 C

28 oz can pork and beans in tomato sauce, mashed
½ C shredded sharp yellow cheese
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp salt
Dash cayenne pepper
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp liquid smoke
4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained, and crumbled
Corn chips or tortilla chips (for serving)

Combine all ingredients except bacon and chips, and heat through. Top with bacon. Serve with chips.
