Mr. Big Food's Version of a Country Mouse Brunch Buffet

We-- Mr. Big Food, Daughter C., Miss M. and I-- invited some friends and colleagues out to Farther Along Farm for Sunday Brunch to mark the occasion of another successful event at State. Kudos to The Bart Man who orchestrated the event's Main Events

Mr. Big Food thought it would be fun to treat our out-of town guests, i.e., the City Mice, to some Good Ol' Country Food. He and Miss M. teamed up to be sure there were tasty Vegan selections.

I think a good time was had by all of the Mice!

And if I may-- and I can since it's my blog-- I'd like to comment on something. I had occasion to speak with the Guest of Honor at this weekend's events. Turns out, he was a Country Mouse who changed clothes. Good for him! He likes the vitality of the City. But I think it's important that we Country Mice remember the root word of vitality--vitalis-- and not give in to the notion that life only exists in the City.

I suspect that Ken's muddy shoes would agree.
