That's a rhetorical question. I don't think German Shepherd-Lab mixes have short hair. 

I've seen commercials for little bity battery powered devises which vacuum dog hair off dogs. I wonder if the brush attachment on the real vacuum on Missy herself be effective? It seems to me that it would be less work vacuuming the hair off her back than off the floor.
