(frozen) Recipe: Creative Cooking French Peasant Soup

More often than not, we have leftover soup, gumbo, stew, and the like. We freeze it. It comes in handy.

Tonight we started with a fresh summer salad: lettuce I picked a few days ago (trying to make my way through it), a French breakfast radish, some tiny yellow squash and zucchini, and a scraped baby red carrot. Mr. Big Food reached into the pea bowl. We dressed it with a homemade creamy blue cheese.

And then we had frozen leftover French Peasant Soup. And a roll. It was good.

Missy is a DAWG! There are NO REBELS in this house, although some folks from that school up north visit from time to time.
