A Little Rant about Heat

I really do not know what I am going to do. Of course I do, but I don't understand why I should care more about doing what I have to do this year as opposed to two years ago. 

The first year we were here the tomato and pepper seeds came to life right on time. 

What is different?

Obviously, it's heat. Heat costs $$. 

Heat vs. Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant, Cumin, Etc. ?? 

Heat it is! I'll be moving another little energy consuming portable electric heater up to window in the unheated structure that serves as a greenhouse-- where I'm hoping my seeds will sprout-- tomorrow.
