Recipe: Tait's Knedliks

Part of a Big Czech meal!

Another good knedle recipe, and it doesn’t take as long to prepare as the Steamed ones. This one is from Mr. Big Food's great aunt, Tait.

TAIT’S KNEDLIKS

2 ½ C flour
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tsp baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
¾ C milk

Sift flour, salt, and baking powder. Add eggs and milk, mixing well. On a floured board, shape into two oblong balls (“like two footballs”). Boil a big pot of water and drop in the two knedliks. Cover and boil 20 minutes. Remove to a platter and slice.
