Recipe: Stephen Pyle's Seafood Seasoning Mix

For the Barbequed Gulf Shrimp


From the acclaimed “New Texas Cuisine” chef. Use dried thyme and oregano if making in bigger batches to store.

STEPHEN PYLES’ SEAFOOD SEASONING MIX

½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp ground cumin
2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped, or ½ tsp dried, crumbled
2 tsp fresh oregano, chopped, or ½ tsp dried, crumbled

Combine all ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
